I feel so bad that I haven't posted anything on my blog. Either Craft related, life or projects I been up to. To think that Christmas is almost here and running around trying to do my last minute shopping, ok for some it's not quite last minute but for me it is. Also the new year too! wow this is so crazy! I have a few things to tell you gents and gals. First off I got a new position at my job which has been keeping me extra busy but I have to say I like it allot! and allot less stressful. I knitted a few things that I need to post pics of but one is not with me. I made a special requested knit for a friend a cowl neck, black and grey chunky knit. I will also post notes how to make incase you are interested. I also made a hat and a chunky Carmel bobble chunky cowl which I love and extra chic and cozy. The strange thing is its December and there is no snow on the ground. Had some few cold days ,warm days and allot of rainy days, in fact it's raining while I am writing this. So this weather has not really made me in the Knitting or crocheting mood. I know there is allot of you who bring your projects with you on the go and I do have 2 pouches to carry my projects in but, like I said...the mood has been crazy here at the house, with the holidays, the accident and the puppy. But none the least one thing is for sure it has made me in a cup cake baking frenzy! As you seen in a few post back I made a Rainbow cup-cake which was a huge hit, but I posted two more pictures of cuppie cake creations that me and friend has made. The first is the cookie monster cup-cakes that was a big hit and tasted so yummy! and then for Thanksgiving a Turkey cup cake. I hope this inspires you. I will be thinking of a design for a Christmas cup cake to share with you all. Besides all this like I said there has been allot of running around and shopping. I went to Woodsfield mall and visited the Lush store. For those of you who don’t know what that is. It's a all natural body and face company with lotions, crèmes and soap! boy can I say I am obsessed. I bought a few things, one of them the Sultana of Soap, Which is made out of Apricots are rich in beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant, and many other minerals. The dried fruits contain even more beta-carotene (10.9IU) than the fresh fruit (2.6IU) per 100 grams. They also have an even higher concentration of potassium than the fresh fruit and smells divine! and was a hit with the guys in my life. I also bought a freshly made BB seaweed mask mmmm sooo fresh smelling and made my face feel soo smooth. Both of the products I purchased I would give 2 thumbs up. COOKIE MONSTER CUP CAKES

I used:
* 1 box of white cake mix
* vanilla frosting
* blue food coloring
* small m&m cookies for the mouth
* White backer chocolate round chips (eye)
* chocolate chips (center of eyes)

Bake the cup-cakes then color your vanilla frosting deep blue keep dropping the food coloring until your happy with the shade of blue. Use frosting to “glue” the chocolate chips onto the white chocolate chips and place on cup cake its ok if you make him have a slight crazy look…again it is cookie monster J the crumble some of the mini cookies and place on the mouth area and who-la!

Turkey Cup cakes

* 1 box of chocolate cake mix
* mini Reese pieces cups
* Oreo
* mini m&ms
* almonds
* chocolate frosting

Lush Soap “Sultana of Soap” smells so fresh and yummy! Great for gals and gents!

Here is something that a friend of mine made me and I promised to post a picture. This is not all of my lip glosses and lip-sticks but it’s a nice way to store my things and also a piece of art. Adds color. Want some more! Isn’t it cute!?

Seeing Spots

Hi everyone! been awhile since my last post no? Wow, there is so much to tell you. I been pretty busy with the new puppy! yes I got a puppy and he is a handful. He is a Pitbull-Dalmation mix and very out going. his name is Chopper. Its been hard trying to take a pic of him cause he cant seem to stay still. But after lots of walks and playing he is calm enough to take a snap bit for you guys. He destroyed most of his toys leaving shoes and fingers second option to chew on...and let me tell you this is not enjoyable. chopper loves, longs walks, eating flowers, jumping in mud, destroying new shoes (yes he does not like the old ones for some odd reason) and his cookies. Training has been interesting cause many interesting articles and kind neighbors had mention to use food as a source of praise. As you can see chopper is a little chunky and once you give him one cookie (his puppy pebbles) he looses all interest in training and only wants the cookies. He is only about ten pounds but thinks he is 60 lol what a handful he has been.

Beside the new addition to the family I have been involved in a car accident past 3 days. Wednesday morning on my way to work. A car speeding hit me full force while I was at a red light :( I went to the hospital and got x-rays done and let me tell you. I feel the pain more each day. So now I need to get a rental and get the jeep fix and take some pain medication which has been making me lazy and sleepy. But on the up side, I am alive and truly grateful it could of been allot worse. I have a little time to just take a break and do some things around the house. Which is not allot because I get tired quickly. I been reading this book I picked up at the Library called: "Frances Mayes under the Tuscan sun, a year in the world." Oh! this book makes me want to pick up my things and travel so bad! I have a list of places I would like to explore and have my séances soaring.

Ok well enough for now, the medication is kicking in and getting sleepy lol so for now I will rest. Next time, I continue to finish what I was talking about so it does not seem like I am rambling.

Its been Raining so much and I was not sure if there was going to be a sunny Easter. But low and behold there was! I was so excited! Part was because the weather and second I was not needed to work in the weekend!! so headed to the store to buy some goodies and bake! so I made rainbow cuppie cakes! I am going to share my finished cakes and the link to the youtube channel I used to make them. WARNING! they are very messy to make but a blast! hit with kids and adults alike!

I haven’t crochet anything but I have a pattern I need to share with everyone that is a hit and great for spring. I am going to share a few pics of my makeup I did for a wedding I went to and did the Bridal party. I am in a new swap, that I mentioned to everyone on Ravelry called the "visor/brim hat swap" This is going to be lots of fun! I have my partner and the pattern I will do for her and the color yarn. When I am finished I will post pics and buy some goodies. Enough of me talking now keep you updated soon!

Big Oat, and Bitty bow

I been so busy its crazy! work has been taking so much of my time. I miss my alone time with me and my hook and yarn. On the upside I had a weekend off. You know what that means right? I was a busy bee!! loll I made a few things and received a hat swap package. That I will take pictures of and share on my next post. I joined a new swap on Ravelry. the theme is Brim! I am so excited. I have a few ideas what I will make, all I am waiting for is to see who’s my partner and pick the yarn, color and goodies’ made this hat from 'valliekids' on ravelry called " big brown hat" This hat I love! came out so cute! I added a crochet band with 2 vintage buttons. I love buying buttons at garage sales and estate sales, and using them on my hats. The hat was so easy and fast to make. I used it allot in the fall with my green jacket and leather jacket. Got so many compliments on it. Nothing bad to say about the pattern, on the plus side, takes no time at all and not that much yarn!

Soo excited! on the other hand with makeup, I will be doing makeup for a wedding and getting allot of request for free lance makeup services. I bought my first Mac lip stick! I was looking for a purple and I found one! its called " goes and goes" I am posting a pick so you can see the color. I just love it. I am planning to get more colors, like a coral, and a yellow. I know what your thinking, but they will be great colors for spring and summer. So you see what how they look I will share pics of makeup looks.

Ok so this is an example of the endless things you can do with this pattern! I bought a ring and the head of the ring broke.. so I thought, hey make a crochet bow ring! so I recycled it and made the bow to put on top. Now I sewed (wrapped) the bow onto the ring a few times. I did not glue but you can. If you don’t have a ring base laying around you can buy a pack at your local craft store for not that much. So have fun make them in many colors! :)

Once upon a time there was a girl who never had a hand knitted sweater, so she looked near and far for the perfect match to put on her body. Not to far she found it! then she went on her quest for the yarn and needles to make it. After sweat and tears she finely finished it! she tried it on and it was the perfect fit as it hugged and kissed her curves. I don't know how long it took me to make but I finally took some pictures of my first knitted sweater that I was making as a group sweater knit along. The color I wanted to be different then the traditional fisherman sweater. The only thing I wished I did different was making it a little longer. This sweater did not take much yarn at all...my worries about the yarn not giving was not the case.In fact I had 1 skein left over! I did not do any fancy ways of making the sweater. It was made the traditional way. front, back and both sleeves, blocked and sew the pieces together. If you are interested in the pattern its a old leaflet from leisure arts, that my mother had on hand. I posted a pic also. If you know me I am easily fascinated with anything knitted and crochet. I love being inspired by other peoples knitted garment. Here are a few pics that I Found that just have to be posted on my blog and shared with you.

New Year, New Week

So I guess you would say I started off the new year with a bang!! ok ok maybe a bust... I was not so successful on writing everyone first thing and wishing them a Happy New Year. So I am wishing you a new week! What normally comes with the new year is new year resolutions....to be honest I am not a big fan of.I would say for the most part I cant stick by them. Surprise enough I am going to try set goals (same thing no?) and do things that always caught my attention and do things i never did before. I know being crafty has its down falls and perks. I feel already there is not enough time to make everything I want and not enough yarn to make them (or crafty supplies) lol but with that said with Ravelry has been an addiction like facebook is to most people (coughs) Ravelry is an addiction, I just had to get that off my chest haha, But then again I would not come across so many great projects and inspirations. I tried a new look on makeup and also did my 2 hats for ravelry hat swap. One is the "ear-flap" hat swap and the other is "your favorite color 2". With the hats completed its now goodies shopping! I am posting a pic of the hat and cowl I made for the favorite color swap. I also did my nails, and the new look of makeup. The nails are pink tips with glitter tip. The make-up is turquoise and purple and brown.The hat is a modified version of a hat, holding a turquoise worsted and variegated worsted together to make a little chunky. Work has been going good. I had been doing allot more make-up applications and lessons. I had a woman come in and got a new hair cut for the new year and wanted a new look. She had a few concerns she was worried about. She started off saying, I want clear looking skin, healthy glow, my eyes are deep set and would like them to pop! So we did just that. here is the before and after. I gave her most key thing I tell all my ladies. If trying a new look practice at home, when you have no where to go and don't feel pressured. Most importantly...have fun make-up can wash right off and you can start over!

p.s. I almost forgot i got a new hair cut and color! I never colored my hair before now my hair is no longer a virgin lol so i had this virson and came to one the best hair-stylist at my work and told her and she cut it. I was having a bad day and was telling her how i wanted red pika-bo's and she said, " I have this great color" and ran back and started putting pika-bo's in my hair. I asked how much I owe you for those and she said, "Marry Christmas!" she made my day! I have to say she made me addicted to pika-bo's now.

I am so excited! I got this package in the mail, coverd in red snowmen that yes I will admit the first thing came to mind was a pair of pj's I own lol and ran to the kitchen to grab some scissors (note: I did not run back with scissors "cough")and opened my package. It was my hat from the cables and lace hat swap hosted on Ravelry!It was one of the hats I qued and been dieing to make but been so busy with other knitting projects never started. Along with the amazing hat I got goodies! I will list left to right: * girl tweezer, * skull tissues, *fork-spoon, * candy, * monkey key cover, * Stitch markers, * 2 ornaments, * 2 skiens of knit picks yarn in a great shade of purple! I made a hat for my partner but cant post any pics yet cause she has not recieved it yet. I am in one more hat swap, but this one is a suprise. It's called the "secret hat swap" you make your partner a hat on there wish list. Your parnter has no idea who you are or what your making, until they get it in the mail :) I been busy with hats swaps and between that personal projects. I will be posting pictures of other finished projects when I get a chance. I dont know if anyone really reads my post...but I will give this a try. Does anyone have great holiday wrapping ideas for swaps/ gift giving on knit or crochet projects you make?

I been also doing make-up! and nails. I am going to share a few pics of some makeup looks and nails I did, hopefully they inspire you. I did these in the summer/fall. under each pic I will list the colors I used.

Urban Turban

HI everyone! I hope you guys are enjoying this fall weather as much as I am.I notice that on my blog I havent posted any knit patterns really besides the lace scarf. Seeing all over the web and in stores and fashion magazines knitted turbans (there is diffrent takes on it) I was inspired to make my own. This is one of many crochet/Knit versions of a pattern I am doing. This pattern is supper easy and cute! the concept is same for both patterns. You can use worsted weight yarn or a bulky. It's all up to you and the desierd look you are going for. I made 2 in a sitting of NCIS :) quick gifts. The crochet version I used worsted weight and the knit version bulky weight with seed stitch. With Studying for my state licence I been running around looking for a job and meeting up with old friends. I have to say Fall is one my favorite seasons. With Thanksgiving coming, I can't wait for those pumpkin pies, apple pies and good old comfort food. I am not big on yard work that comes with this season but I do love the diffrent colors of the leaves. Why not wear your new turban while doing that? keeping your ears warm, with out ruining your hair. So if your not a hat kind of gal. Then try this out trust me you will love it, and you can wear this chic head band 3 ways!

Urban Turban Knit version
Supplies: *sewing needle
*size 17# knitting needle
* 1 skien of Lion brand wool-ease Thick and Quick or any thick/ bulky yarn (uses less then a skein)
Note: You can use any weight yarn just change needle size and cast on more stitches. Uses less then one skien and fits teen/adult head.

Co. 8 sts
Working seed stitch:
R1- K1, P1, across
R2- P1,K1, across
repeat for pattern. I knitted my head band until measured 18 1/2" inches. Key to this is you want to make headband fit around head but not be to loose or too tight. Then fasten off and twist piece and sew ends together. remember to pull tight to get the gatherd effect. Enjoy!

Urban Turban Crochet Version
Supplies:
* sewing needle
* 1 skein of Worsted Weight yarn I used cascade yarn 220 superwash
* size J crochet hook

Ch 13, dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in every stitch across, ch 3 turn = 10dc
R2-until desired leangh: Dc in every stitch across, ch 3 turn = 10 dc
Crochet until band fits comfortable around your head. Remember to measure as you go. You can use bulker weight yarn if desired. Then fasten off weave in ends and twist headband and sew ends together.

Inspired Desire

So, as all of you know I was knitting for my boyfriend....and he requested a ton of things. I was not sure if a) he was going to give them to his buddies b) wear them or c) sell them in a dark alley way....lol but I made them anyways and crossed my fingers and hope its b, he would wear them. I finished [puddles scarf] http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/puddlesaka-the-dog-walking-scarf This scarf came out nice and the one word came to my mind….SEXY!!! love it! softy, squishy, and stylish. This is one of the many things, He is 6’2 so he wanted not a long scarf but not a short one either. I knited it 80” long I highly recommend this pattern this http://www.ravelry.com/projects/fiber-fashionista/puddlesaka-the-dog-walking-scarf is what I used.

Then I finished the italian hat Onda su onda http://www.ravelry.com/projects/fiber-fashionista/onda-su-onda-set I have mix feelings for this pattern let me just say that, I plan on making a neckwarmer to match. It looks nice but the decreases look wonky. Anywho my bf is not modeling it cause I said he can't have it untile the neckwarmer is complete.

On second note, I was inspired from this Japanise girls hat and had to make it. The hat came out cute and I will be donating it to snug-hugs.

Green Mint Japanese Slouch
This hat was inspired by a hat a japanese girl wore. I don't remeber where I seen this picture. But I knew I had to make it. I loved the colors so, looking through my yarn stash I found a Turquise (one of my favorite colors) wosted weight yarn and a fancy ribbon yarn from Plymouth yarn *carnivala Italian collection* I will be donating this hat to charity. If you like to know how to make this cute hat here is what you will need.

size 8# circular needle
size 8# double ponited needles (of 4)
1 skein of worsted weight yarn ( The color I used is Turquise)
1 skein of Plymouth yarn carnivala italian collection (note i cut the ribbons out in the end)
1 stitch marker
gauge is not really important since the body is knitted with worsted weight yarn and its a slouch.
PSM: place stitch marker M1: make one (make a stitch by knitting throught the back loop) or Inc (increase) MC: main color NY: Novelty yarn
Gauge of worsted yarn: no.8 needle 9sts to 2 inches 6 rows to 1 inch in stockinette.

With MC co. 72 sts, join to work in the round, being careful not to twist PSM.
R1-14: K2, P2, or work for 7 rounds, if you dont want a thick band.
R15: * K1,M1, K1, P2* repeat around (90sts)
R16: Knit around (90sts)
R17:K9, Inc (working on 10th st) around (99sts)
R18: Knit around (99sts)
R19-21: Change to NY (novelty yarn) knit around (99sts)
R22-25: MC knit around (99sts)
repeat sequence knit 4 rounds of main color, 3 rounds of ribbon until desired look. I did rows 3 of novelty.
Decreases: to be honest I don't remember but i know i started to dec like follow:
knit 2 together, knit 8 sts repeat around, then every following row will be, one less so...knit 2 together, knit 7 sts and so on. Remember to change to double pointed needles and fasten off. If you find a better way to decrease for this paticular hat let me know. Sorry the pattern is a little vague I did this in the wind.Opetional: pom-pom can make a pom-pom to go on top of the hat like the girl. Request and my little quest

So I notice online and in fashion department stores are all kinds of headband with feathers, lace and flowers. I was close to picking one up and purchasing it when I thought to myself..." I can make this!" I am sure we all go around saying that :) but then when we get home forget about the whole idea and regret buying it in the first place. Well I almost had one of those moments...then I said hey wait I will try to do this. Being finished with studies I decided since I have plenty of time on my hands I will try to make. I picked up some sock yarn and went away knitting flowers ( you can do crochet to if you like) and sewed little glass beads in center of them and went to the doller store and purchased some headbands, plain headbands. I cut a piece of felt and sewn the flowers onto the felt that I hot glued onto the band. like a sandwhich with another piece of felt. The end result! I had to get them. Are they not adorable? I decided to buy them for gifts....but I have to admit I will probely leave them on my shelf for myself hehehe :) I been finding myself favoriting alot of hats on ravelry. I think there easy and quick to make and take along with you on road trips or confernces. I had a friend see my hat collection. Hats I made and I traded with others. she wanted to buy them off me! I said no :) but one of the hats she loved I designed and made. The black one is a crochet beanie style hat with a crochet flower in the center of the flower is a vintage button. I love buttons especially vinatge. I said to her, I can make you one but it will not have the same button. So she agreed and then she requested a purpe slouchy hat with cables and flowers and thats where, Insou comes in (pattern can be found free on ravelry). Here is some pics since I said I will be posting some of the things I been up to. Whats on my needles now? Onda su onda by Annalisa Dione in grey for my boyfriend. He actually request several things so I am crossing my fingers he will wear and use. Keep you updated if he does!

Where has time gone?..

where do I start?? Its been a long time since I sat down and designed something let alone knitted or crochet something. I started collage full time and all this going on time flew! I am studying to be an Estecian (skin therapist). The cool things I learned along the way I would not trade for anything. My second passion besides jewelry and fiber arts and baking is makeup. I will be sharing a few f my looks with you as well. In school I learned how to make my own cosmetics. I have to say which was so exciting. I made them from scratch and named them. I hardly had a summer cause I was caught up in doors for the whole summer. It was not until I was hit with a flu. That I realized how much I missed knitting and crocheting and baking. I started getting inspired while I was in bed, I grab my sketch book and started doodling designs. I think I owe you guys something for how long I been missing. I plan on keeping up with this as much as possible. With things I am doing, inspired by, creating or thinking of. I am not going to change my blog name (at least not yet) for now it is good. I would love feedback from others. I am sorry I don’t know why the comments are not working but you are more then welcome to email me. I took pictures of the pink one. But I made a yellow one and I plan on making more colors. I cant wait to see what you guys come up with. I figure this is a great way to get rid of scrap yarns. Ok, so some idea. Use it for you, children or your pets!! And not just as a hair accessories use as a bow for the neck or pin :)

little Bow-Peep

LIttle crochet and knit hair pins:
what you will need fingering yarn (baby yarn) I like to use bright colors of scrap yarn I have laying around. Be as creative as you can be as you can tell you can already make these with all your scraps of rainbow color yarns, decorate them with buttons or gems!
Gauge: 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" or 2 x2 square,
so you can make this with sock weight or any scrap weight yarn you have around.
Crochet version:
hook: f #
sewing needle
1 bobbie pin of your choice. You can use as a pin just sew pin back to bow instead of bobby pin.
ch 9, sc in 2nd ch from hook.sc across, ch 1 turn =8 sc
r2) Sc in every st across, ch 1, turn=8 sc
r3- 9) sc fasten off. weave in loose ends
the finish square should measure out to be: 2 by 2, fold square so forms a bow. Hold in fingers as you take same color yarn and do several wraps around square to shape. Tip dont do to many wraps, it will become to thick. If this happens use same color thread (not neccesary) and sew to pin. and enjoy!

Knit Version:
Neddle: size 8
sewing needle
1 bobbie pin of your choice. You can use as a pin just sew pin back to bow instead of bobby pin.
co. 8 with long tail cast on
2-9) purl fasten off weave in ends

WOW! winter has been long here. I been thinking of designing another hat..but then I decided I needed something to cheer me up with all this cold and raining weather :/ Between baking and designing, these little guys made me smile.I am in the proscess of making a hat, but until its complete and ready to go I will share this. Here is a amigurumi to make you smile and keep your hands busy. I would say this is one of my favorite I made so far. I made as a suprise for someone special. I made a rabbit and a bear. The rabbit my sister and Bear I will name Burak the bear ;) You can make these little guys as personal as you like. Make them of someone you like or you! have fun with it. Change the color of the suit or hair and the details you use.

You will need:

Size E# crochet hook

Fingering weight yarn; in bright colors I used Blue and yellow for the suite and cream for the body and black for the hair and light brown.
5 or 6 mm black beads for eyes you will need 2 per ami :D

Fiber-fill (great idea use old pillows and open them up and use the stuffing)

Sewing needle (sew body parts and eyes and details on)

Bow (i used blue, yellow and mint)

Safety pin (I used as stitch marker)

Head

R1) Ch 2, work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join with a sl st, = 6 sc
R2) Work 2 sc in every st around = 12 sc
R3) Sc in the next sc, work 2 sc in the next st, rep around = 18 sc
R4) Sc in the next 2 sts, work 2 sc in the next st, rep around = 24 sc
R5-10) Wprk even in sc = 24 sc

I find it easier to stuff the head half way and sew on eyes. Now finishing head.

R12) Sc, dec 1 sc repeat around = 12 sc finish stuffing head.
R13) Skip 1 sc, sc in the next sc, repeat around = 6 sc
FO (Fasten off) weave in tail (you will not need to leave a tail for sewing cause the head with pop in the hat.

sew hair on the head, making llong stitches, tipL: dont new hair all around just enough to see. Cause the hat will cover most of head. Have fun picking the hair color ;)

Body

R1) Ch 2, work 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook, join with a sl st = 6sc
R2) Work 2 sc in every st around = 12 sc
R3) Sc in the next st, work 2 sc in the next st, rep around = 18 sc
R4) Wroking in the back loops only, sc around. = 18 sc
R5-15) Sc around = 18 sc

Stuff the body, you can sew buttons to body (optional)

Arm (make 2)

R1) With color of body; Ch 2, work 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. = 6 sc
R2) Sc around = 6 sc
R3-5) With color of suit , join the color, sc every st around = 6 sc

sew to body.

Cap

R1) Ch 2, work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join with a sl st, = 6 sc
R2) Work 2 sc in every st around = 12 sc
R3) Sc in the next sc, work 2 sc in the next st, rep around = 18 sc
R4) Sc in the next 2 sts, work 2 sc in the next st, rep around = 24 sc
R5-13) Work sc, then FO, sew to body
You can sew bow on at this time.

Rabbit ear (make 2)

Ch 2, work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 6sc
R1-7) Sc around = 6sc

note; sc as many rounds as you like to make ears as long as you like

Bear ear (make 2)

Ch 2, work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 6sc
R1-4) Sc around = 6sc
you can make ears as long or short, depeading on how your tension is.

Can I have a Bow?

I was inspired by Nancy Ajam’s ( in case you don’t know her she is a beautiful famous Arabic singer or is it Lebanese?)receptions dress she wore to her wedding. I had to close my mouth before I wet my key bored! Hehe the dress was beautiful. Designed by Channel, it was long, strapless and had a big bold black bow in the bodice. I was inspired to make a hat from this dress. This hat is crochet and simple and quick to make. I made this hat in one day.Now this size I give is to fit size 22 1/2- to 23" inch head so if your head is smaller then do less increases. Like most of my patterns. I try to make simple but chic, or simple and cute ^_^ You can easily make this hat in a simple knit and knit bow. Getting the same look. Feel free to make the hat in different color combos. Examples: Pink hat white bow. Red and white bow, black and white bow blue and white bow. The possibilities are endless! The base of the hat is simple on its own and I like the base alone as well. here is the pattern:

With G# hook and worsted weight yarn (I used white)and worsted weight yarn for the bow ( I used black)
Size: teen/adult size 22 1/2" to 23" head

R1: Ch 6, Sl st to join the ring.
R2: Ch 2, 11 dc into the ring (12 sts). Sl St to join.
R3: Ch 2, dc in the same space you joined the sl st, 2 dc in each st around the circle (24 sts). Sl st to join.
R4: Ch 2, * 2 dc in the next st, (inc by working 2 sts in one st) 1 dc, rep from * around, ending with 2 dc in the last st (36 sts). Sl st.
R5: Ch 2, 4 dc in the next st, *5 dc, 2 dc in the next st, rep from * around (42 sts) Sl st.
R6: Ch 2, 5 dc, 2 dc in the next st, * 6 dc, 2 dc in the next st, rep from * around (48 sts) Sl st

R7: Ch 2, 6 dc, 2 dc in the next st, * 7 dc, 2 dc in the next st, rep from * around (54 sts) Sl st.
R8: Ch 2, 7 dc, 2 dc in the next st, * 8 dc, 2 dc in the next st, rep from* around (60 sts) Sl st.R9: Ch 2, 8 dc, 2 dc in the next st, *9 dc, 2 dc in the next st, rep from * around (66 sts) Sl st.
R10: Ch 2, 9 dc, 2 dc in the next st, *10 dc, 2 dc in the next st, rep from * around (72 sts) Sl St.R11: Ch 2, 10 dc, 2 dc in the next st, * 11 dc, 2 dc in the next st, rep from * around (78 sts) Sl st.
R12: Ch 2, dc around (this row is worked with no increases) Sl st.
R13- 17: rep round 12

R18: Ch 1, sc around, FO, weave in end.
Note: you can make hat as long and short as you like around rounds 13-17. Some might like more a skull cap and others enough to cover there ears. Now for the bow.

BOW

With I# hook and black yarn

Ch 33, dc in 4th ch from hook, and dc in every ch across (29 sts)
R2-6: Ch 2, turn, work dc in every st across FO, weave in edge. Sew onto hat.

♥ Sunny Side up ♥

I was eating toast and eggs, when a light went of : I got it, a little sunny side up egg Amigurumi!!! :D I thought would be the perfect friend for my toast. They hit it off like peanut butter and jelly like 2 pea’s and a pod. Hehe you get the idea ;) This is one of my Amigurumi patterns I will be sharing with you guys. I have a few more. Its funny how most of my Amigurumi are food related. The toast you see pictured is not my design. I modified it, which you can see on my project page on Ravelry with the details. You will need:
* Safety pin (great stitch marker)
* E# crochet hook* Stuffing* 6mm black bead* fingering or sport yarn in yellow (yoke) and white (egg white)
Yoke: Ch 2, work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join =6 sts
R2: Ch 1, work 2 sc in every st around =12 sts
R3: Ch 1, work 2 sc first st (inc), sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, rep around. = 18 sts
R4: Sc around= 18 sts
R5: Work 2 sc in first st, sc in the next 2 sts, work 2 sc rep around = 24 sts Fasten off
Egg White: with white yarn and hook join yarn to egg yoke.
Ch 1, work 2 sc in first st, sc in next 3 sts, inc, rep around = 30 sts
R2: Sc around= 30 sts
Now free style around egg. Place double crochets and half double crochets around. Much like a real egg not regular shape. Have fun! ♥

Snow, Cone and a handful of yarn

This is the original inspiration. My friends mother knits and she free styled this scarf. I loved it so much i designed one similar to it and sent her the pattern. I am sharing the pattern with you.

Flower Lace Scarf

Needle: 11# straight needle
#H/8-5.00mm and #F/5-3.75mm crochet hook
Sewing needle
1 pearl bead
Fingering or DK weight yarn yards? ##

Body of scarf:
Long tail CO. 30 sts
R2# Purl
R3# K2tog,yo, rep across (29sts)
Continue last 2 rows for pattern rep until measure 8” [20 cm] inches.
**Dec Row: k2tog across k last st (16sts)
Next Row: (RS) Knit (16sts)
Next Row: (WS) Purl (16sts)
Rep last 2 rows for 2” inches [5 cm] ending with a (WS)
Next Row: (increase row) (P1,yfwd) 15 times. P1, (30 sts) **
Work in lace pattern for 19”-20” [45.5cm], ending with wrong side.
Work from **to** once more.
Work in Lace Pattern for 8” inches [ 20cm],ending with wrong side row. Cast off.
With Ws of work facing, pick up and knit 16 sts along first decrease row.
Next row: (WS) Purl
Next row: (RS) Knit
Rep for 2”inches [5cm] Cast off. Sew in position along increase row.

Flower
With (H) crochet hook
Chain 3. Join to form a ring.Round 1: Chain 6. In ring, dc, ch 3, 4 times. Join in 3rd chain of ch 6.Round 2: Sl st in next ch 3 space, ch 1. Sc, hdc, 3 tc, hdc, sc, in same ch 3 space. *Sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc in next ch 3 space. Repeat from * 3 times. End with sc in starting ch 1.Round 3: Chain 5, sc in back row, 5 times.Round 4: Sl st in chain 5 space, ch 1. *Sc, hdc, 5 tr, hdc, sc, in ch 5 space. Repeat from * 4 times. Fasten off, sew purl bead to center of flower. Sew flower to front of scarf. Pull scarf through loop.

Row 2: 3 dc,ch 5, 3 dc over 5 ch; ch 1, 3 dc, ch 5, 3 dc over next 5 ch, repeat across.

Hello my Fiber friends! :D I am excited and exhausted while telling my self to take pictures of this new lace scarf . I could put the pictures along with the free pattern. It was exciting cause I got a chance to play in the snow (see how cozy my knits were) before conquering the truck load of snow off the drive way. Instead of rewarding myself with a nice cup of hot chocolate, I grabbed a ice cream cone. I know, I know but no matter how much you tell me this is crazy. I love my ice cream. I mean don’t get me wrong, I will sit down with a nice hot cup of coco, but there is those days I grab a bowl (yes not cup) of ice cream. The exhausting part, besides shoveling snow. Is the last minute Christmas shopping and Gift knitting. Phew!!! I am almost finished. I hope you like the pattern! I will be posting more (ok tons more) patterns in the future. So, keep on checking.
